In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, Vasundhara Hospital organized an insightful session on “Burnout Resilience & Mental Wellbeing” on 12th October 2025, specially designed for nursing and administrative staff to promote emotional wellness and practical stress management.

Dr. Sanjay Makwana, Director of Vasundhara Hospital, inspired attendees by highlighting the importance of positivity. “We should always carry a smile,” he said. “A smile has the power to uplift not just ourselves but those around us. It helps lighten stressful environments and makes it easier to find solutions in tough situations.”
The session continued with Ms. Aradhana Kaul Kathju, who introduced the theme of Digital Wellbeing , discussing how excessive screen time can disrupt sleep, reduce focus, and impact mental health. She encouraged mindful screen use and healthy tech habits.
A creative and symbolic “Community Web” activity , facilitated by Ms. Kathju, illustrated how every staff member plays an essential role in the hospital’s strength. It emphasized that when one thread weakens, the whole network feels the impact — reinforcing the importance of mutual support.

She explained how constant stress and emotional fatigue can silently affect one’s overall wellbeing, leading to both mental and physical exhaustion. Through guided breathing exercises and simple relaxation techniques, Dr. Rajawat helped participants experience calmness, emotional balance, and effective stress management that can be practiced in daily life.
The session concluded with Dr. Tanvi Shaikh, who offered practical strategies on resilience-building, managing stress , and achieving work–life balance . She encouraged staff to prioritize mental health and seek help without hesitation. Through this initiative, Vasundhara Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to creating a workplace culture that values wellbeing, connection, and emotional resilience.
